Three people have been charged for kidnapping Halloween: Resurrection actress Daisy McCrakin and actor Joseph Capone.
According to Variety, McCrakin and Capone were kidnapped at her home in South L.A. on May 3, 2017 and held for $10,000 ransom.
The actors were held at gunpoint and forced into a car. From there, they were taken to one of the suspects’ home, where Capone was stripped naked and forced into a bathtub and held without food for 30 hours.
Variety reports the indictment also mentions the actor tried to protect McCrackin but was beaten, punched and kicked.
The day after the kidnapping, McCrakin was allegedly forced to write a check for $10,000 in ransom. Her car was stolen, as well. Afterwards, the actress was dropped off at home, where she contacted the police.
McCrackin was then dropped off at home, where she contacted police. The three suspects were arrested on July 2, 2018 and are being held on bail.
