It’s no secret that Dave Grohl may be the sweetest man in rock. With that being said, Xcel Energy Center immediately lit up when one of Grohl’s classic heartwarming gestures gave another youngster the chance to get up close and personal with the “fighters of foo.”

According to Consequence of Sound, Grohl invited both the child and his father side stage. Later, Grohl let the child strum his guitar.

“You gotta take his parents too now, hold on,” Grohl said. “This is a family occasion! Bring them up on the side!”

According to Christy Taylor of Go 96.3 in Minneapolis, she described the child as having to walk with a red and white cane. The child also had to be carried to the stage, suggesting that he was blind.

This is not the first time that Grohl has shown to be rock’s number one dad. Earlier this month, Grohl invited a 10-year-old boy to play Metallica with him onstage. Additionally, the Foo Fighters frontman covered Billie Eilish and Adele with his daughter and auctioned signed gear to benefit young musicians.

Following the band’s Nirvana reunion, Grohl said he is ready for Foo Fighters to take a break.

“You kind of set these goals for yourself,” Grohl says in Billboard‘s “Chart Beat” podcast. “To see if you can do it again. So here we are at the last set of shows we’ve been on for a year and a half, and I’m ready to take a break but I’m ready to do it again at some point.”

The band is almost finished wrapping up their Concrete & Gold tour. You can see the two remaining dates below.
