Dave Grohl mistaken for being in another band by confused bartender

In a few tweets made by Maggie Rogers, the singer-songwriter says Dave Grohl was recently mistaken for being a part of her band.

According to NME, Rogers was at a bar in Virginia Beach when the bartender asked the cursed question.

Of course, mistaking one of music’s most prevalent icons is certainly something we have to giggle about. However, it looks like we weren’t the only ones.

“I am, as they say, ‘deceased,’” Rogers says of the interaction.

That said, the famous Foo Fighters frontman had a good sense of humor about the fan’s question. In another tweet made by Rogers, Grohl replied, “I’m her guitar tech.”

Recently, as previously reported, Grohl made a special appearance at Seattle’s Pike Place Market on April 20, with Brandi Carlile. The duo covered both the Beatles and the Foo Fighters during their unexpected set.

The night before, Carlile shared a photo of her and Grohl with the caption, “I love it when Dave Grohl comes over for dinner and ATVs. You sir are welcome to live with me…please.”
