Dave Grohl pranks fans in Sweden with fake stage fall

Foo Fighters pulled the ultimate prank on concertgoers in Gothenburg, Sweden, on Tuesday night.

Kicking off their set at Ullevi Stadium, the show started like any other concert. The band’s frontman “Dave Grohl” rushed onto the stage and to the walkway, only to take a dive off of the stage a few moments later.

Before fans could actually panic that the frontman was hurt, the real Dave Grohl quickly came to the stage, revealing that it was all a ruse.

The prank was in reference to the time Grohl famously fell off the stage, breaking his leg, during the Foo Fighters’ set at that very venue almost three years prior.

An Instagram user also captured the prank, where you can see the stuntman actually falling off the stage and to a mat below.
