During the episode, Soma performs a drum cover of “The Pretender” by Foo Fighters that is absolutely mind-blowing.

 More on Dave Grohl

A few days ago, Grohl covered tracks by Motörhead and Thin Lizzy on drums during the Ride for Ronnie benefit.

Grohl was joined by Ricky Warwick, Robbie Crane (Black Star Riders) and Keith Nelson (formerly Buckerry) for renditions for “Jailbreak” and “Bomber.”

In other news, Grohl recently mistaken for being in singer-songwriter Maggie Rogers’ band.

According to NME, Rogers was at a bar in Virginia Beach when the bartender asked if Grohl was part of her band.

“I am, as they say, ‘deceased,’” Rogers says of the interaction.

Grohl’s response to the mix-up only made the interaction that much more comical.
