Dave Grohl hits ‘Sesame Street’ and beyond for “Here We Go” collab

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl made an appearance with Big Bird and Elmo on Sesame Street to sing about the positives of traveling and making new friends.

That isn’t the first time the singer has been on screen with the famous puppets. In 2015, after playing with Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, Grohl duked it out with Animal in an epic drum battle you can watch below.

Last year, it was confirmed the frontman would be making an appearance on the 50th anniversary season.

“Dave Grohl was incredible. Thanks for playing with us! A great way to wrap up this week’s shoot,” Elmo’s puppeteer Ryan Dillon, wrote on his Instagram. Sesame Street producer Aimee Blackton also shared a photo of Grohl playing his guitar on set.

More on Foo Fighters

Foo Fighters have been releasing EPs of live tracks, covers and demo songs for the past few months and they’re back with yet another.

The latest and seventh overall EP, 02050525, sees the band covering Jawbreaker and the Passions as well as three demo tracks.

The band are giving some love to ’80s one-hit-wonders The Passions as well as punk rockers Jawbreaker. They covered “I’m in Love With a German Film Star,” as well as the latter’s 1992 track “Kiss the Bottle.”

The new EP also features Foo Fighters deep cut “FFL (Fat F–king Lie),” a rare studio take of “Skin and Bones” and a demo of “DOA.”

All three songs originally appeared on 2005 release Five Songs and a Cover which was a b-side collection from their In Your Honor sessions.
