Dave Grohl, a paragon of rock virtue, makes grown man cry with "My Hero" performance

The music Dave Grohl has made with the Foo Fighters seems to evoke emotions far beyond what our feeble minds can comprehend. Case in point: During a recent show in Greenwood Village, Colorado, the Foo frontman made Anthony, a (presumably drunken) grown man, cry with an acoustic performance of “My Hero.” “Don’t cry motherfucker. I know you’re drunk, don’t cry,” said Grohl midway through the song. “Are you crying right now? You’re fucking crying aren’t you? I love you man, look at you, holy shit. You know what, fuck that speech I was just going to make, I’m singing this shit to you right now. I’m gonna sing this fucking song right in your face, man to man, prison style,” (via ConsequenceOfSound).

And that’s exactly what he did.
