Somebody get Dave Grohl a full-time talk show, quick!

While filling in for the talk show's regular host, Jimmy Kimmel, Grohl delighted viewers (in full, present-day Letterman beard) and told actress Bell (in costume as the titular Magnum, P.I. character) how his kids adore her performance as Anna in Disney's Frozen. “If I were to jam a song with you, I would become like the coolest dad,” Grohl said. (How could Dave Grohl be any cooler a dad?!)
Well, the pair did just that: Check out Grohl and Bell rockin' a medley that goes from Frozen's “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” all the way to Metallica's iconic “Enter Sandman.” You couldn't even make this stuff up!
The fun didn't stop there. Grohl closed out his Kimmel guest-host spot with Alice Cooper joining Foo Fighters onstage for a medley of classic Cooper tracks. (Watch that here, and see Grohl's interview with Cooper here.)
“I can't believe I get to dress up like David Letterman and interview Alice Cooper,” Grohl marveled at one point.
Like we said, the man needs his own TV show.
