Dave Grohl performs with broken leg from 'Game Of Thrones' inspired throne

What better way to spend the Fourth of July than at a Foo Fighters gig? The band celebrated the 20th anniversary of their debut record last night with a huge blow-out show at Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium in Washington DC. You might remember that Dave Grohl broke his leg while in Europe back in June, and you might be wondering how he was able to perform. But don't worry. He found a way.

Being the literal rock god he is, Dave Grohl played the entire show from a Game Of Thrones inspired throne, with a gigantic “FF” logo behind him and guitar necks in place of iron swords. Yeah, that happened.

There's plenty of footage of the show, where you can see Dave rip confidently through the band's greatest hits from his throne, with an elevated purple cast leading the way. We bow our heads and send well-wishes to Dave; we're not worthy.
