Death Cab For Cutie announce 'Transatlanticism' 10th anniversary reissue, release "Lightness" demo

Death Cab For Cutie's classic album, Transatlanticism, will see a 10th anniversary deluxe reissue on both vinyl and digital formats, Oct. 29 via Barsuk Records. This marks the record's first pressing on vinyl in several years.

The reissue will include unreleased demos for all 11 tracks, bundled with the digital edition and available as a download with the vinyl edition. The latter is currently available for pre-order through Barsuk. Additionally, the demos will be available as a separate release, Transatlanticism Demos, and as a bonus to those who purchased the Barsuk Years vinyl box set, released earlier this year.

Death Cab For Cutie are set to perform Transatlanticism in its entirety this Sunday, Sept. 1, at the Bumbershoot festival in Seattle. No further plans for an anniversary tour have been announced.
