Destroy The Runner to release reunion EP with original lineup

10 years after the release of their debut album, melodic metalcore group Destroy The Runner are reuniting for an EP with their original lineup. 

The band have launched an IndieGoGo campaign to fund the effort. As of posting time, they’ve reached six percent of their goal.

“While we were working on our third release, a lot of factors got in the way, and ultimately led to the band's indefinite hiatus,” reads their campaign description. 

“We weren't certain if we'd ever make another record together again, but we knew that things didn't end the way we wanted them to.”

Below, you can hear a teaser of what the new music will sound like, which leans more towards Saints, rather than the post-hardcore sound of their second LP, I, Lucifer.

Destroy The Runner formed in 2004 under the moniker Die Like Me. They changed their name after signing to Solid State Records in 2006. They went on hiatus in 2010.
