Diarrhea Planet stream "Kids," ahead of tour, new LP

Diarrhea Planet have premiered a new track, “Kids,” from their upcoming album, I’m Rich Beyond Your Wildest Dreams, due out Aug. 20 via Infinity Cat.

For the uninitiated, the Nashville, Tenn.-based group first formed in 2009, and generated early buzz with the self-release of their debut EP, Aloha. Now boasting a six-piece lineup, which includes four guitarists, Diarrhea Planet's sound is reminiscent of an unholy trinity of The Menzingers, Titus Andronicus, and Van Halen.

I'm Rich Beyond Your Wildest Dreams is the group's follow-up to Loose Jewels, their 2011 full-length debut.

Following a universally praised appearance at this year's SXSW conference, the band have begun debuting tracks from I'm Rich, ahead of its release. Check out their latest, a relatively calm track by Diarrhea Planet standards, called “Kids,” below.

The band premiered another new track, “Separations,” last month, which is more in-line with their previous upbeat, hook-laden material. You can give it a listen here:

And, if you're still on the fence about the unfortunately named group, just let Limp Bizkit vouch for them. Or, for a more reliable source, like your own, non-Fred Durst eardrums, check out the band performing a cover of Bruce Springsteen's “Born To Run,” with a little help from Titus Andronicus frontman Patrick Stickles, at Shea Stadium:
