Director Neill Blomkamp confirms new 'Alien' movie
According to a report from Variety, it has been confirmed that director Neill Blomkamp has finalized a deal with 20th Century Fox for a new Alien movie. The film will reportedly take place in a time following the impending Prometheus sequel.

Blomkamp had been teasing a new Alien film in 2014, but it recently thought to have been abandoned. Then Blomkamp posted an extraterrestrial sketch to his Instagram with the caption, “Um… So I think it's officially my next film,” along with an alien hashtag (see below).
