Broadway’s Hamilton is finally coming to the streaming service after much anticipation. The Disney+ Hamilton special event was originally scheduled to premiere in October 2021. However, the platform decided to push up the release date to entertain those who are quarantining during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Broadway show was filmed in June 2016 and will give viewers a close-up look at the original production which stars Lin Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr. and more.

As well, Disney+ viewers will be able to stream some classic films in July. For those seeking some Disney nostalgia, 1992’s The Mighty Ducks is heading to the streaming service. The film follows a hotshot lawyer (Emilio Estevez) who is charged for drunk driving. The court forces him to coach a kids hockey team who happens to be the worst in the league.

Star Wars fans will also be able to watch 2018’s Solo: A Star Wars Story which stars Donald Glover (a.k.a Childish Gambino), Woody Harrelson (The Hunger Games), Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) and more.
