Disney reportedly wanted Jared Leto for canceled 'Tron 3'

According to an exclusive piece from the Hollywood Reporter, there was interest from Disney to have Jared Leto added to the cast of Tron 3, though nothing concrete was ever put into motion to make it happen. The film has since been canceled.

Earlier this year, it seemed as though things were moving forward with the flick. Roles from Olivia Wilde and Garrett Hedlund were speculated to be reprised, and Joseph Kosinski was thought be returning as director. 

Despite the project's abandonment, however, Disney will still be very busy in the years to come. Live-action versions of The Jungle Book, Alice: Through The Looking Glass and Beauty And The Beast are on the horizon.
