Dr. Martens and Hello Kitty reunite for 60th anniversary collab

Dr. Martens have paired up with a lot of companies over the years for some amazing collaborative pieces and their latest collab with Hello Kitty is sure to be a huge hit.

The two companies are revealing their new collaborative line is celebrating anniversaries for both of them after they did a similar partnership a decade ago.

Back in 2010, the two partnered up for a 50th-anniversary line of important moments in their history.

Now, they’re back with new sets of footwear bringing the cutesy Japanese brand together with the hard aesthetic of Dr. Martens.

“A decade ago, we teamed up with Sanrio for a joint birthday celebration/collaboration. Sanrio was celebrating 50 years of alternative Harajuku attitude, while we marked 50 years of the 1460 boot. Ten years on and naturally we both have new anniversaries to celebrate. The two brands are overdue a reunion,” a statement reads on their website.

The new collection includes multiple sets of boots, kid’s footwear, sandals, and a satchel. The new shoes will be priced between $120 and $200.

People have been going wild over the new collection online. Take a look below for some reactions going around.

Hello Kitty has previously partnered with clothing and shoe brands for collections outside of Dr. Martens as well. Just two years ago, they paired up with Converse for a sweet shoe line and prior to that, they also linked up with Puma.
