Dropkick Murphys and Rancid tour to make your spring punk AF

Boston bruisers Dropkick Murphys and West Coast punk lifers Rancid are teaming up for a spring tour that’ll make you ball your fists and jump around. The “Boston To Berkeley II” tour begins May 3 in Concord, North Carolina, and ends May 24 in Lewiston, New York. Fans will recall that both bands went out together in 2017 for some full-contact punk revelry.

Opening the tour will be two singer-songwriters who might not have the decibels of the headliners, but have just as much heart. Dropkick Murphys fans may have seen Jesse Ahern on previous tours, plying his heartfelt and politically strident soul.

Boston To Berkeley II will also include Scottish singer/songwriter Gerry Cinnamon. The 34-year-old Glasgow-born solo artist released his debut album Erratic Cinematic in 2017. His onstage honesty and exuberance will appeal to fans of of punk troubadours such as Frank Turner and Billy Bragg. It’s Cinnamon’s first time in the states, so go early and be pleasantly surprised.
