Chester Bennington’s family and friends held a private funeral service for the late Linkin Park frontman, and special items from the memorial service package are being sold on Ebay for thousands of dollars.

It was previously reported that the private funeral service took place on Saturday, July 29, with attendees receiving a special remembrance package, which includes a funeral program, a wristband, lanyard with laminate and a pin with Chester’s signature engraved on it, Kerrang reports.

Former Of Mice & Men frontman Austin Carlile shared an image following the celebration of the special items the attendees received:

The service today was beautiful. Thank you Linkin Park, thank you Chester. For everything ❤❤❤

However, there are currently two listings on Ebay, both in the thousands of dollars: One upwards $34,000, the other upwards $51,000.

It has not been confirmed whether they are authentic or not, and they appear to have been taken down from Ebay at this time. However, it turns our stomachs knowing that people are trying to profit off the late icon’s private, special service.

Following the news of Bennington’s death, the band launched a special site dedicated to Chester, sharing memories and additional resources for those struggling with suicidal thoughts.

Bennington has been in Linkin Park since 1999 and was part of the band’s massively successful Hybrid Theory, released in 2000. He has been a part of the band’s seven albums: 2003’s Meteora, 2007’s Minutes To Midnight, 2010’s A Thousand Suns, 2012’s Living Things, 2014’s The Hunting Party and their most recent released, 2017’s One More Light.

Our thoughts are with Bennington's family and friends at this time.
