Echosmith team with Hollister for All Equal anti-bullying campaign

Your favorite band of siblings, Echosmith, have formed a partnership with Hollister Co. to battle bullying and raise awareness with a new campaign called All Equal. The campaign kicks off with a nearly 16-minute informational video featuring the band, a scholarship program, a line of inspirational t-shirts, and a round up promotion that gives customers the option to round their purchase totals up to the nearest dollar with the profits benefiting the non-profit company, No Bully, who have also partnered with Hasbro, Cartoon Network, TOMS and more.

Hollister's brand president, Fran Horowitz, has said, “Many of our customers are affected by the profound and lasting impact that bullying can have. Our goal in bringing the All Equal campaign to schools is not only to raise awareness, but to provide students with the tools and resources they need to stand up against bullying.” Echosmith's lead singer, Sydney Sierota, adds, “Most people struggle to fit in and feel like outsiders at some point in their lives, which is why we joined this campaign and what inspired our song ‘Cool Kids.' To us, antibullying is about self-acceptance and love for others, and we hope that through this campaign and our music, people find inspiration in these messages.”

The video below finds the members of Echosmith discussing their hit song “Cool Kids” and their own desires to fit in and accept themselves for who they are. There are also several other interviews with anti-bullying advocates discussing various forms of bullying abuse and ways to stop it, cope with it and more.
