It’s been a few months since Grimes and Elon Musk welcomed their son X Æ A-Xii in May. Since the news of the birth, the couple has sent the internet into a frenzy over their son’s name, how it’s pronounced and how it appears on the official birth certificate.

Now, Musk has shared a new photo of the 2-month-old baby on social media. In return, the Tesla tycoon is receiving even more memes regarding his son’s name.

Musk and Grimes faced a few issues with their son’s name over the past few months.  Shortly after announcing that their child is named X Æ A-12 Musk, it came to light that California law does not allow symbols or numbers on birth certificates. This law deems it illegal for Musk and Grimes to spell their child’s name “X Æ A-12.” All of this led to the couple changing their baby’s name to “X Æ A-XII,” replacing the 12 with the roman numeral representation.

In the past, the new parents have seemingly had problems agreeing on how X Æ A-XII’s name is actually pronounced. To make things easier, Grimes recently revealed that the baby’s nickname is Little X. Then, it was revealed that their son’s name appears as “X AE A-XII Musk” on the birth certificate. The child’s first name is X and his middle name is AE A-XII.

Now that all of the name drama has been settled, the new parents are sharing more photos of their newborn baby. On July 20, Musk shared a photo of him holding his son along with a caption in German. When translated, it says “the baby cannot use a spoon yet.”

It is unknown why Musk specifically chose to write the caption in German. However, it’s possible he’s showing off his mastery of the German language as Telsa prepares to open its first European factory in Berlin.

One Twitter user got the stamp of approval from Musk after they replied to the post with “Erst den löffel, dann den controller.” The tweet translates to “First the spoon, then the controller.” In response, Musk sent a big thumbs up.

Of course, a flood of memes directed towards Musk were quickly shared on Twitter. Most are about the unusual name Musk and Grimes chose for their son.
