Eminem unleashes furious freestyle against Trump, says he’s “working on an album”

Eminem has been synonymous with the biggest names around the music industry since the turn of the century, and fans have always been captivated by the profound lyricism that he presents, time and time again.

Now, two days after he turned 44, Marshall Mathers is dropping a bomb on the hip-hop world. Just hours ago, Eminem posted on twitter, “Don't worry I'm working on an album! Here's something meanwhile.”

Boom! This will be the first record from Eminem since the realease of The Marshall Mathers LP 2. But what is absolutely turning the internet upside down is the “something” else that he included in his tweet.

Mathers has offered the world a blistering, in-your-face callout of Donald Trump and his campaign’s supporters with a new, nearly 8-minute long freestyle titled, “Campaign Speech,” making him the latest in a long line of artists who are openly repudiating Trump and his divisive rhetoric.

The track, which can be listened to in full below, features very minimalist instrumentals, and highlights a number of flows, lyrical styles and literary techniques that have made Eminem one of the most respected names in hip hop.

Eminem doesn’t usually just drop earth-shattering content without a purpose, so it’s safe to say that his stance on the possibility of a Trump presidency is firmly against. Not to mention that some of his lines are so ruthless, you may actually find yourself calling him a savage. And rightfully so, the man has serious bars.
