Enter Shikari vocalist compiles out of print books in new novel

Enter Shikari vocalist Rou Reynolds is no stranger to books, but now he’s releasing a new one.

Dear Future Historians (Lyrics and Exegesis of Rou Reynolds for the music of Enter Shikari 2006 – 2019) compiles both of Reynolds’ out of print novels along with some new material.

The book will also include three more track lyrics and essays plus new artwork and photos.

“I’m a strong believer that dissection and analysis of music or art does not – contrary to popular belief – diminish it or reduce its magic. As Beethoven said, “Don’t only practice your art, but force your way into its secrets; art deserves that”. I hope readers of this piece of explanatory literature will find it exciting and interesting,” Reynolds says in a statement.

The book arrives May 28 and you can pre-order it here. Along with the book’s release, Reynolds will be performing acoustic sets at exclusive signings. You can see the dates for that below.

Enter Shikari have also announced an extensive summer touring schedule across the UK and Europe. They’ll be closing the tour with two sets per day at UK’s Reading & Leeds Festivals, including intimate late-night performances. You can see the full schedule below.
