"And that's a wrap!" the group posted on Wednesday. "Album 6 done and dusted!" Earlier this month, BFMV named Jason Bowld—the band's drummer since 2015—an official band member. At that time, they stated that the new record (their first since 2015's Venom) was "99 percent done."
We can't wait to hear where Bullet For My Valentine go with their new album! We recently spoke to the band about the anticipated release, and they described the musical evolution they've undergone on the new LP.
"There's a lot different about this record, actually," says singer and guitarist Matthew Tuck. "The way we've approached [it], the way we've written it, the sonics used, the instrumentation that we've added. It feels like it's a whole new beginning for the band, so it's a very exciting time."
