Avenged Sevenfold kicked off their headlining tour last night with a bang, welcoming Halestorm's Lzzy Hale to the stage to perform a Pink Floyd cover.

The band are currently touring The Stage World Tour, featuring special guests Breaking Benjamin and Bullet For My Valentine. Hale's special appearance took place in Nashville at the Bridgestone Arena, where the musicians covered the Pink Floyd classic, "Wish You Were Here."

Avenged's frontman M. Shadows praised the singer's performance, commenting, "The best fucking singer in all of rock 'n' roll right there," right before the end of the song.

Watch a video of the performance below:

"Wish You Were Here" was the only cover performed during the set, even though The Stage's deluxe version includes other cover songs. Maybe on another date we will see a live version of Mexican folk cover, "Malaguena Salerosa." Avenged Sevenfold also debuted "Higher" for the first time live last night.
