Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda has confirmed he's working on a new solo album in a post seeking music video extras. Earlier this year, the musician released the first taste of his new solo material, the Post Traumatic EP.
While Linkin Park members have recently been spotted in the studio together, Shinoda took to social media last night with an invitation for fans to appear in a music video. Including a map of the old Tower Records in Hollywood, California, the performer said the vid was for a solo album:
"Who wants to meet up and be in a music video?" reads Shinoda's Instagram call from Thursday. "I'm shooting something for my solo album at 8:30 in Hollywood tonight. In 45 minutes. Roll thru." See the post below.
The Linkin Park member will be playing a solo set at this year's Summer Sonic festival, and fans have already started a campaign for more solo gigs. You can check out Shinoda's music videos from Post Traumatic right here.
