Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda recently shared his first solo effort, the Post Traumatic EP, featuring three heartfelt new tracks and joined the lineup of this August's Summer Sonic Festival in Japan.

Following the announcement, fans started a campaign to promote the record and try to get solo shows in their cities.

In order to show which cities they would like the tour to hit, fans created a campaign on WeDemand. They also came up with the hashtag #PostTraumaticTour to raise awareness about the project.

Shinoda, who recently told fans they should "make noise" if they wanted to see them live, shared the campaign links, as well as a video explaining how followers can help:

The musican also shared three emotional, homemade music videos—one for each song on his recently released solo effort, which you can watch here

Shinoda describes Post Traumatic as "not Linkin Park nor Fort Minor [Shinoda's periodic hip-hop side project], it's just me."

"Art has always been the place I go when I need to sort through the complexity and confusion of the road ahead," he says of the EP "I don't know where this path goes, but I'm grateful I get to share it with you."
