We've all heard of getting quotes tattooed on your body, but what if you could actually hear your tattoo?

Skin Motion is making that a reality and you can find out how below!

Soundwave tattoos are a pretty simple concept, you get a tattoo of the soundwave and with the help of Skinmotion's app, you'll actually be able to hear the tattoo.

"A person uploads or records the audio that they want as a Soundwave Tattoo™ to the Skin Motion app. The app generates a Soundwave from that file. The user can then adjust the visual appearance to their liking. The person takes the generated Soundwave to a tattoo artist from our Artist Network (tattoo artists need to be licensed in order to make sure they understand the limitations of the technology and how that applies to tattoo placement, size, and customizations to the design of the tattoo). Once the artist completes the tattoo, a photo of the tattoo is uploaded to our platform and the tattoo goes through our patent pending activation process to make it playable with the Skin Motion app. Using the Skin Motion app, when the user points the camera on their mobile device at the tattoo it recognizes the shape of the Soundwave and plays back the sound," the website explains.

The website also assures you that you can update the photo of your tattoo in the app over time, so even as your tattoo fades, the memory and sound associated with the tattoo won't.

Skin Motion even has an entire network of tattoo artists that will be able to tattoo these special soundwave tattoos as soon as the program launches. In addition to paying for the tattoo, you'll also have to pay $29.99 for a voucher so you can actually listen to the tattoo.

Unfortunately, you can only get a song tattooed if you actually own the copyright, which means you'll more than likely won't be able to get All Time Low tattooed on you, but these tattoos are still dope and we're totally signing up for the waiting list.
