Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee releasing children's album—listen

Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee announced that she will be releasing a children's music album Dream Too Much on Sept. 30, exclusively with Amazon Music.

This album consists of 12 tracks that range from original songs, classic children's song and even covers of hits like the Beatles “Hello Goodbye.” The project began as a birthday gift to her father, who she credits with passing on the gene of music to her and her siblings. The album has tracks featuring family members, including her 2-year-old son Jack.

“This album is very personal to me. My husband and I had our first baby in 2014, and he has been the center of the inspiration for this children's album,” says Amy Lee. “Every song on this album has a story—whether it's an original for our son based on his favorite things, or a song my dad used to sing to me when I was a little girl. I can't begin to tell you how fulfilling this project has been and how proud I am to unveil it to listeners on Prime Music.”

Dream Too Much will be available for purchase and download in MP3 format, with pre-order for the digital album available starting today.
