Every Time I Die debut new song reportedly titled “Planet Shit” at UK gigs

Every Time I Die just played a new song last week. The new song is possibly called “Planet Shit” as that is what it is referred to in three separate fan posts.

Every Time I Die is currently working on their ninth studio album. Joining them in the studio will be producer Will Putney (Thy Art Is Murder) who also produced their 2016 album Low Teens. This will be ETID’s first record in four years.

Every Time I Die previously debuted a new track live at their Tis’ The Season celebration on Dec. 15. At the show, the band performed a brand new song called “Back Distance” that comes from their upcoming record. They also performed “White Void” from the album, which they previously debuted during a cruise gig over the fall.

Before that, the band teased a new riff and confirmed that they are working on their next album.

Then, on Christmas Day, Every Time I Die gave an officially updated timeline for 2020.

It seems that during this run of EU/UK dates, the band decided to play a new song, at least while in London and Manchester. ETID is playing at O2 Brixton Academy and while no one says the name of the song, we’re led to believe it is called “Planet Shit” and it is an absolute ripper. Check out the fan footage below.

Then, two nights later in Manchester, they reportedly played the song again.

About a week ago, ETID tweeted to celebrate the first day of official recording.

They’ve given us an update every day since. Check them out below.
