Last week, Motion City Soundtrack revealed they were going to be doing two shows in seven different cities later this year: Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Boston, Cleveland, Philadelphia and Detroit. During these two-night stands, the band will be playing all four of their studio albums—2002’s I Am The Movie, 2005’s Commit This To Memory, 2007’s Even If It Kills Me and 2010’s My Dinosaur Life—in their entirety.

While full details are still emerging–such as what albums the band will perform on which night–AP can exclusively announce the official dates and venues for each of these shows:

August 19th & 20th       House of Blues                                                Los Angeles, CA

August 24th & 25th       The Fillmore                                                    San Francisco, CA

Sept. 9th & 10th            The Fillmore at Irving Plaza                            New York, NY

Sept. 13th & 14th          Paradise Rock Club                                         Boston, MA

Sept. 16th & 18th          Theatre of the Living Arts                               Philadelphia, PA

Sept. 20th & 21st           Cambridge Room at House Of Blues             Cleveland, OH

Sept. 23rd & 24th          St. Andrews Hall                                              Detroit, MI

“It will feel great to be connected to our family of fans and friends through these performances of their favorite album or the first song they heard of ours,” says guitarist Josh Cain. “We feel these shows will be a great way to acknowledge where we have been and where we are going with our soon-to-be released 5th album.”

Stay tuned for more details as we know them!
