'The Flash' actor is writing his own “darker” script for solo film

Ezra Miller is reportedly writing his own script solo film version of The Flash after apparently feuding with directors.

The film is currently in production with John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein spearheading the project.

Miller feuded with Daley and Goldstein when they decided to take a light-hearted approach to the film while the actor wanted it to be darker.

Miller decided to write his own version with comic book writer Grant Morrison to do just that.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. will pick between the two scripts. Miller apparently has a lot riding on the decision, as if they go against his take, he could part ways with the project. He currently plays Barry Allen and his deal with the show reportedly expires in May.

The CW show is currently airing its fifth season. You can watch a clip from the show explained by producers below.

Miller also appears in the Fantastic Beast series, which is a spinoff of the Harry Potter franchise. If he stays on the project, he will star alongside Billy Crudup and Kiersey Clemons.
