Facebook and Instagram are reportedly down right now
It looks like Facebook and Instagram are currently down for some. And the parent company behind the “Facebook family of apps” is confirming certain users’ trouble accessing the social networking applications as of late Tuesday morning. But how about you, are you able to use Facebook or Insta right now?

While not all are affected, swathes of social media users took to Twitter today to voice their frustration over the apps’ apparent unavailability, as reported by ABC News. And the company confirmed the outages in an email to the news outlet.
We know some people are having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

“We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps,” said a spokesperson for the social media giant that also owns WhatsApp. “We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.”
The Verge reports that the ‘book and Insta outage is now affecting users across the United States as well as some parts of Europe and South America, judging by data it acquired from the third-party site Down Detector‘s outage map.
