Fall Out Boy to appear on 'The Price Is Right' ahead of the 2020 Grammys

Fall Out Boy lead singer Patrick Stump and bassist Pete Wentz will be making an appearance on the popular morning game show The Price Is Right on CBS in 2020.

Previously, Wentz appeared on Double Dare via Nickelodeon and the rock band have also been referenced to multiple times on Jeopardy (and even as a wrong answer).

Starting in 2019, The Price Is Right featured a different music genre every day for Music Week with special guests leading up the Grammys. Kiss were the guests last year for the day that celebrated rock n roll.

Besides Fall Out Boy, Diplo and Anderson .Paak are also scheduled to feature in their own episodes for Music Week. The genres represented this year are rock, rap and electronic.

Fall Out Boy’s appearance will be taped on Dec. 9 as well as Anderson .Paak’s with Diplo’s being Dec 10. The tapings are public and fans of each act are urged to fill the seats. You can register to attend here.

While Fall Out Boy and Diplo will not be participating in the 2020 award show, Anderson .Paak is up for two Grammys at the 62nd award ceremony for Best R&B Album and Best R&B Performance.

The Fall Out Boy episode of The Price Is Right will air during the week of January 20, 2020, with the GRAMMYs premiering on January 27.

On Veterans’ Day, Fall Out Boy performed a show in Seattle that was livestreamed via iHeartRadio. The band offered free-entry to locals with a valid ID by emailing the address the band had provided and waiting until the end of the day to find out if you were one of the lucky ones able to get in.

The Chicago rock group released Greatest Hits: Believers Never Die Volume 2 later that week on Nov 15. It sees the group’s biggest hits from the past ten years, including “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up),” “Centuries,” and more. Next summer, Fall Out Boy will be kicking of the Hella Mega tour with Green Day and Weezer. The tour kicks off June 13 in Paris and will run throughout Europe, the U.K. and North America with the Interrupters as support.
