Fall Out Boy to release two-disc 'Save Rock And Roll' deluxe PAX-AM edition in October

Earlier this week, Fall Out Boy teased an announcement in conjunction with PAX-AM, the Los Angeles-based studio and record label owned and operated by singer Ryan Adams, where the group spent two days recording back in July.

Details of the announcement are not slated to arrive until Monday, Sept. 30, but the video (below) led many to speculate that some or all of the tracks the band recorded with Adams, described as decidedly more punk and raw, would finally see some type of formal release.

We previously mentioned that it would be unlikely for FOB to drop a full album so closely on the heels of their latest, Save Rock And Roll. What the band appear to be doing instead, however, is planning a deluxe reissue of Save Rock And Roll, which will likely include some if not all of the PAX-AM sessions.

The release, which has popped up prematurely in some online stores, is being labeled as the Save Rock And Roll “PAM-AM Limited Deluxe Edition,” and is listed as containing two discs. The full tracklisting, scope of the bonus material, and additional details are unknown at this time, but should arrive on Monday. The reissue is apparently slated for release on Oct. 15 in the U.S.
