Falling In Reverse have canceled their forthcoming Episode IV tour with Crown the Empire and Tom MacDonald, set to kick off this Thursday, Nov. 7.

The cancellation comes with the tragic news of guitarist Derek Jones’ fiancé suffering complications from her metastatic cancer diagnosis. You can read the band’s full statement below.

Back in March, Jones revealed that his fiancé’s cancer had come back with a vengeance, setting up a GoFundMe page to help pay for treatment costs.

“Christina, my fiancé, has recently been diagnosed with metastatic cancer,” Jones wrote on the GoFundMe page. “Although this isn’t her first diagnosis (previously cervical cancer) which was treated with surgery, 3 years later it is back with a vengeance! Currently it has spread through her left side lymph nodes as well as to her right pelvic bone. Any one who knows Christina knows she’s a tough one. We will get through this, but she’ll need all the help, love and support from everyone!”

In support, Falling In Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke later released the “Stina Benefit Tee” with 100% of the proceeds going toward Christina’s cancer treatment.

Back in October, Jones shared in an Instagram post that Christina’s situation had gotten worse.

Yesterday, Radke took to the Falling In Reverse Twitter account to reveal that their forthcoming tour would be canceled due to Christina’s recent hospitalization.

“I can’t believe I’m even typing this. Derek’s fiancée Stina’s cancer has hospitalized her recently due to fluid in the lungs. While in the hospital matters have gotten worse and she has been moved to the ICU. Unfortunately we will have to cancel the ‘Episode IV’ tour.

“However, Derek and I discussed it and agreed that we are going to try and play Australia. It does not seem right in my heart to tour knowing of her condition as Derek has to be with her to help her fight through this. I’m sorry to the fans, Crown The Empire and Tom MacDonald. I will make it up to you somehow.”
