‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore’ trailer forebodes Dumbledore-Grindelwald war
Warner Bros. has revealed the latest trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. This is the third movie from the Harry Potter prequel franchise.

The movie is set in the 1930s and follows Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) as he tries to stop dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) from taking control of the wizarding world. According to the movie’s description, “unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?”
The film was directed by David Yates, with the screenplay written by J.K. Rowling and Steve Kloves. Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore hits theaters internationally April 7 and in North America April 15.
