Fearless Vampire Killers have launched a music video for the debut single on their mini-album Bruises. The “Like Bruises” video sees co-vocalist Laurence Beveridge sustaining some very symbolic contusions through the course of a verbal fight.
“The title [of our mini-album] Bruises is not literal, but more in reference to the mental fatigue we and many others endure in the course of our lives,” Beveridge says. “The track 'Like Bruises' best represents this idea, while exploring mental abuse and fractured relationship.”
“Like Bruises,” one of the final songs written for the mini-album—which explores the difficulties they've faced and the damage FVK have sustained throughout their career—represents the direction they are hoping to take with their music, Beveridge says.
