FEVER 333 play Green Day, Lil Nas X, Eminem mashup with Nova Twins

FEVER 333 and the Nova Twins teamed up to deliver an epic mashup no one else would have ever dreamed of.

A collaboration was certainly due since yesterday the Nova Twins announced they are now signed to FEVER’s new record label 333 WRECKORDS CREW.

“The whole idea of the 333 WRECKORDS CREW is to offer a creative alternative to the banal structure of the music industry as well as supporting and propagating art that challenges,” FEVER 333 frontman Jason Butler explains. “Nova Twins are literally the embodiment of this idea. Two black women in rock music twisting the convention of a genre whose only chance of survival is to evolve. Nova Twins are that evolution. Nova Twins are the future. They are so damn important to this music and to the culture, and I’m gonna make sure people see that. I couldn’t be more proud to announce them as the newest addition of creatives to the crew.”

FEVER revealed the mashup collaboration with the Twins on Twitter today. The track is a mix of four tracks: “California Love” by Tupac, “Brainstew” by Green Day, “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X and “Forgot About Dre” by Eminem and Dr. Dre.

From Green Day’s signature riffs, to the southern drawl of “Old Town Road,” the mix combines the best of all four songs into an electrifying track and even better live performance.

The set was recorded at the O2 Forum in London for BBC Radio 1.

More on FEVER 333

Last month, the alt-rap activists unleashed new track “KINGDOM” while in the midst of their U.K. run.

Originally recorded during production for their debut STRENGTH IN NUMB333RS, the track is full-on FEVER 333 through and through. From vocalist Jason Aalon Butler’s impassioned words to the band’s—guitarist Stephen Harrison and drummer Aric Improta—gritty, driving beat, the trio are here to make you take note.

“KINGDOM” follows a remix of “ONE OF US” in October from EDM artist GOLDHOUSE. The band also recently joined Poppy for their highly anticipated collab, “Scary Mask,” which dropped in May. However, the track marks their first new solo release since STRENGTH IN NUMB333RS in January.

Check out the new track here and below.
