Fifth 'Shrek' movie is reportedly happening

Yes—there may actually be a new Shrek movie.

Comcast recently acquired DreamWorks Animation, and the new Shrek owners are looking to “breathe new life into” and “resurrect” the franchise, according to Deadline. I guess four movies isn't enough to satisfy our need for ogre-infused fairy tales.

The first Shrek installment released 15 years ago, and the latest sequel, Shrek Forever After, released five years ago.
