First look at new Need For Speed will have you excited about racing games again—watch

EA has unveiled the first look at the latest installment of Need For Speed's franchise, (via Engaget). Simply titled Need For Speed, the game will boast “deep customization, authentic urban car culture, a nocturnal open world, and an immersive narrative that pulls you through the game,” according to a description from the creators themselves.

“While we’ve been busy making the game we’ve also been reading, watching, and listening to you, our NFS Community,” writes EA Content And Community Manager Ben Walke. “When Need For Speed launches later this year you’ll be able to fully customize a car, in the process turning it into a truly unique resident of your garage.”

The first full trailer will debut on June 15.
