Foo Fighters cancel European shows; Foo Fighters tribute band saves the day

Foo Fighters tribute band UK Foo Fighters are taking the stage near Wembley Stadium to perform two shows for fans who are unable to see the Foo Fighters due to tour cancellations. These cancellations were announced after frontman Dave Grohl broke his leg during a performance last week.

After the UK Foo Fighters announced their upcoming performances on Twitter, the band wrote: “It's an absolute honour to confirm we will be playing Wembley this Friday and Saturday evening for fans from all over the world who have travelled to London this weekend, and for Dave and Foo Fighters, who we know are gutted not to be playing.”

The tribute band's tweet can be found below.

The tribute band shows are taking place this weekend and all profits will be donated to Given To Live, a live music project based in the U.K.
