Foo Fighters win two Emmy awards for 'Sonic Highways' documentary series

Last year, Foo Fighters released an album called Sonic Highways along with an accompanying documentary series that aired on HBO of the same name. The series followed the band as they traveled the country, searching for different flavors of rock music. Last night, the band won two Emmy awards for the series; Sonic Highways nabbed awards in the “Outstanding Sound Editing For Nonfiction Programming (Single Or Multi-Camera)” and “Outstanding Sound Mixing For Nonfiction Programming (Single Or Multi-Camera).”

The band was also nominated in the “Outstanding Informational Series” and “Outstanding Directing” categories. Congrats to the band on their wins!
