For Today frontman compares abortion to Hitler and Twitter isn’t having it
Although Christian metalcore band For Today have been broken up for a few years now, their vocalist Mattie Montgomery is getting the attention of bands still involved in the music scene with a crappy opinion.
Montgomery made a post on Twitter comparing abortions to Adolf Hitler and a lot of people are rightfully calling him out for saying that.

The former musician and now full-time pastor ended up writing a post comparing the decision some women make to end their pregnancies with Hitler leading the Holocaust.
Imagine if, when asked about the brutal persecution and murder of over six million Jews, Hitler just shrugged his shoulders and said “My country, my choice!”
Just because someone lives in a place you control—a nation OR A WOMB—doesn’t give you the right to kill them.

Now, the metalcore community is letting the former For Today frontman know just how bad that analogy is.
Members of Attila, Cane Hill, Counterparts, Emarosa and plenty of others are stepping in to say their thoughts on his backwards way of thinking.

The band broke up in 2016 after 11 years together. The only thing they’ve done musically together since then is perform at late We Came As Romans member Kyle Pavone’s Promise Me Tribute concert
