Forever The Sickest Kids tease return with upcoming shows

Forever The Sickest Kids fans, get ready. The beloved act took to social media today to tease their return and it could be sooner than you think.

The band have been relatively quiet lately. One of the last things we heard from the band was news of a vinyl preorder for their 2008 debut full-length Underdog Alma Mater

At the time, they posted the preorder announcement with the caption, “If this gets enough ReTweets we will start scheduling some 10 year shows! What cities want us back?”

While they may not have reunited in 2018 for the album’s 10-year anniversary, it looks like we have something to look forward to in 2019.

On Dec. 25, the band revealed they had committed to a show in 2019 but offered up no other information.

The band has been more active on social media lately, with their most recent post revealing more solid reunion plans.

“We will be playing a show or two this year! 😉 Make sure to keep checking back for the details. As we will announce the dates shortly. Much Love!”

At this time, it’s unclear which or if all of the members will return for these shows or when they will take place.

Forever The Sickest Kids’ last performance

In March 2017, Forever The Sickest Kids reunited for the first time in three and a half years. The band played their hometown of Dallas, TX for a sold out kick-off show ahead of their So What?! Music Festival performance.

The band broke out their instruments (and famous mic stand) for the first time in nearly four years, saying they spent two days locked down relearning the songs.

“It’s our first show in three and a half years and tonight’s going to be a little rusty,” frontman Jonathan Cook said.

Prior to that, the band last performed on Warped Tour back in 2013, which marks the same year their last full-length J.A.C.K. dropped via Fearless.
