Original Slipknot vocalist Anders Colsefni has taken to Facebook to shut down any talks of him rejoining the band following the departure of Chris Fehn.

It came to light more than a week ago that Fehn was suing Slipknot for the time he spent touring.

Following the lawsuit, the band announced Fehn was out of the group.

“Slipknot’s focus is on making album #6 and our upcoming shows around the world—our best ever. Chris knows why he is no longer a part of Slipknot. We are disappointed that he chose to point fingers and manufacture claims rather than doing what was necessary to continue to be a part of Slipknot. We would have preferred he not take the path that he has, but evolution in all things is a necessary part of this life. Long live the knot,” they wrote on their website.

Since then, Fehn’s lawsuit has been made public, giving us more insight into his claims.

He is suing for two counts of “breach of fiduciary duty,” one count of “unjust enrichment” and one count of “breach of implied in fact contract.”

Last week, according to Metal Injection, a fan tweeted Corey Taylor asking “if Chris is out the band then can [Anders Colsefni] come back as percussion??”

Taylor responded with “Fuck I would LOVE that,” before deleting the tweet.

It wasn’t long before Anders caught word of the exchange, taking to Facebook to shut down any rumors that may have sparked from it.

“Hello fellow Earthlings! I’m going to take away the uncomfortable conversations that Slipknot might have regarding myself and reported band vacancy by saying: I will NOT be rejoining Slipknot.

It is certainly not for any animosity I have-I simply don’t know those guys anymore. I generally give those I don’t know the benefit of the doubt. I’ve spent the last 27 years (through each and every band) working concrete construction to support my family but still allow time for my “Real Job” lol.

After many years of failed bands, failed marriages, and plenty of others, I’ve settled into an occupation that I can retire from. I’m gonna need the bennies-my body is going to shit! Lol!

As much as I had dreamed of rejoining my creation (shut up- I know it’s a different band now!) it is not enough of a dream anymore to risk being homeless when the tour is over! That being said, Painface is still working behind the scenes. Look for us sometime this year!”

More on Chris Fehn’s lawsuit

Fehn’s lawsuit is against two different versions of Slipknot, Inc., both in New York and Los Angeles. It’s also against Knot Merch LLC,  Knot Touring LLC, SK Productions, LLC; Knot Touring LLC, M. Shawn Crahan(Clown), lead singer Corey Taylor, manager Robert Shore and Shore’s law firm, Rob Shore & Associates, Inc.

The lawsuit also reveals that when he joined Slipknot in 1998 at will, he “reposed trust and confidence in the fidelity and integrity of Crahan and Taylor to operate the Slipknot general partnership for the mutual benefit of the partners.”

It goes on to say he was unaware of the other Slipknot companies that were created and made money.

You can read all of Fehn’s claims in the full document here.

In other Slipknot news, the band  released their most recent single, “All Out Life,” on Halloween, marking their first in four years. Since then, the band have shared plenty of studio teasers.

The band also recently announced a massive North American tour. The band hasn’t commented on if someone will fill in for Fehn.

The Knotfest Roadshow North American tour kicks off this July with support from Volbeat, Gojira and Behemoth. Tickets are on sale now, and you can check out a list of dates below.
