Former Korn drummer David Silveria sues band

In 2006 Korn drummer David Silveria took a temporary leave, or “hiatus,” as Rolling Stone reported.

When it came time for Silveria to make his return in 2013, however, he was turned away, due to the band had already deciding on Ray Luzier as a permanent replacement. He was announced as an official member in 2009.

After spending some time running restaurants, Silveria has returned to the limelight, and according to TMZ, he is going after the rest of the band for monetary compensation. He has sued Jonathan Davis, James “Munky” Shaffer, Brian “Head” Welch and Reggie “Fieldy” Arvizu for his personal cut of the money they have accumulated since he took his leave from the group in 2006.

Silveria is also reportedly upset that the band welcomed born-again Christian Brian Welch back into the band in 2013, but didn't do the same for him.
