Former members of Ghost reportedly suing Papa Emeritus

Former members of Ghost are reportedly suing the band's leader, Papa Emeritus, according to Swedish media outlet Corren.

According to reports, four previous Ghost members—whose, keeping with the band's secretive style, identities are not revealed—instituted a lawsuit against Papa Emeritus, aka Tobias Forge, for “missing wages and allowances for several years.” Forge apparently managed the group's “operations,” particularly financials, without input from other members.

They are demanding Forge release the band's “reported revenues and expenses for the financial years 2011 to 2016.” If Forge does that, they are asking he pay 200,000 Swedish Krona, which is roughly equivalent to $22,200.

Corren states that, in 2012, the band members “did not receive any compensation,” to which Forge said there are no profits to give out. Yet, Forge, under pressure, allegedly did provide “sporadic payments.”

Forge has offered no comment to Corren.
