Former My Chemical Romance guitarist Ray Toro opens up on reunion rumors

Following the release, former guitarist, Ray Toro opens up about the rumors surrounding an MCR reunion (via NME). “I don’t think we realized how dramatic that teaser trailer was,” Toro says. “We were just looking for a cool way to announce the 10th anniversary—and we were all just blown away by the reaction.”

Toro goes on to mention that while the band has no plans to reunite, they do miss making music as a band. “Here and there I think we all probably miss making music together—but I think at the same time we’re all very focused on our current projects,” Toro says. “I think individually we’re all very much focused on what we have going on personally.”

Toro is currently gearing up for the release of his solo album, Remember The Laughter, out November 18.

You can hear the first single here.
