Back in 2002, Richard Medina played Red Ranger in Power Rangers Wild Force. Then, in 2012, Medina was in Power Rangers Samurai.

On Feb. 1, 2015, Medina was arrested for allegedly stabbing his roommate, Joshua Sutter, with—here's the crazy part—a sword. However, Medina was released two days later. According to The Huffington Post, Medina claimed the stabbing was in self-defense.

Then, a year later, Medina was arrested again on murder charges related to his roommate's death. If convicted, he would have faced life in prison with the chance of parole after 26 years.

According to The Guardian, Medina and Sutter got into an argument. Medina then went into his room with his girlfriend. Sutter then entered the room and Medina stabbed him in the abdomen with a sword.

Sutter was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Now, Medina has pleaded guilty and admitted to killing Sutter, (via Comicbook.com).

Medina faces six years in prison.
