Former Yellowcard members reunite to form This Legend

Longineu “LP” Parson III and Ben Harper, both formerly of Yellowcard, have formed a new band called This Legend. The band also includes Stanley and the Search's Chris Castillo and Steven Neufeld from HeyMike!

The group have signed to Cyber Tracks, a label owned by NOFX guitarist El Hefe. Their debut full-length will be released in October and produced by Sam Pura (the Story So Far, State Champs). Check out what LP had to say:

“After being in Yellowcard for 18 years, this will definitely be a new experience for me. The last 18 years with Yellowcard has played a big role in who I am today. I am excited to begin this new adventure with my best friend Ben Harper and re-unite in a new musical endeavor together. I'm stoked to embark on this journey with one of my inspirations, El Hefe of NOFX, and I feel This Legend is a perfect fit for the Cyber Tracks family. Jen and Hefe have been very supportive throughout my new transition and I feel we've created a solid team. I can't wait to start writing again. Thank you to my fans for sticking by my side throughout all of this. See you on the road very soon!”

Cyber Tracks' El Hefe adds:

“I used to chill with LP and Ben back in my Warped Tour days. Their level of musicianship has impressed me over the years, so it's no doubt this will be a great album.

LP left Yellowcard this past March. The band have since signed to Razor & Tie Records and will release a new album this year.
